Easy Bird Feeder

What you need:

  • Milk or Juice Carton
  • Construction Paper
  • Crayons or Markers
  • Old Shoelace
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Birdseed

-Rinse out the carton, so that it’s nice and clean.

-Cut out a square section of the carton, leave a few inches at the bottom (as this is where the seeds will sit).

-Use the carton to trace and cut construction paper, to match the shape of the carton.

-Use your crayons an markers / glitter etc to decorate the paper (Make sure it’s dry).

-Glue this to the sides of the cartons (again allow it to dry properly)

-Use your Sharp pencil, to poke a hole in the top (so you can hang the feeder up). String the shoelace through and knot it to make sure its secure.

-Poke your pencil through the bottom of the feeder so the birds have a perch.

-Let your little one fill it up with bird seed and choose where to hang it (they may need some guidance on safe places)

-Wait for the birds to come and use it 🙂
